why haven't you upgraded to mini itx yet, /v/?
I don't live in my mom's basement so space is not an issue.

fuckin got him
>>321850562
Is mini itx a meme or actually worth looking into?
Upgrading mobo/CPU/RAM this winter/spring (from i7 3770k to i7 6700k and DDR4 if Amazon/Newegg gets the supply chain disorder fixed) and could easily justify a new case.
I like the size and potential portability but how is the cooling options.

these are my idle temps in this case
it's fucking great m8

pretty set on the case I'm try not to spend more than 350 on this right now I'll be adding a 390 in later how can I improve it? Am I going to be fucked with bottlenecking? I can't afford to spend much more right now.
>>321851840
you'll be fine. the cpu can handle a 390x. just make sure it isn't too big for the case, the 380 is big enough already, even aftermarket models
I have.
>>321850562
hey faggot what kinda keyboard is that?
>>321852030
I have a few inches left I already checked thank you!
>>321852120

I live in Florida and it is hot

I built a mini ITX for my bro and it turned out real nice. The reason I don't use an ITX for myself is because I have a workstation and needed plenty of space for extra hard drives, and the 16GB limitation on RAM was a little too low for video editing. Even so, you can cram a helluva lot of power into something the size of a shoe box, and that is pretty great.

agreed on the HDD thing. i'd settle for more laptop sized hdds if they'd just add more fuckign space for them, there's plenty of space in nearly every mitx case for more 2.5" drives
>>321851613
>i5
into le garbage it goes.
>>321853820
nice may may, thanks for the bump
>>321853363
Too bad, Floridacuck.
Cause I have a full tower
>>321850562
>mini itx
>upgrade
hey what haircut do you want?
gimme that PS4 bruh
say no more senpai
>>321850562
Give me a good reason to go mini itx other than it being smaller
>>321855476
>give me a good reason to go smaller other than it being smaller
>>321855676
>has no other benefits
I'd rather have more space for HDDs and huge GPUs. Not to mention more space to work with when building it
>>321855823
wellm that's a perfectly valid reason and i won't judge you anon
>>321850562
cooling on that case and the ml8b is fucking shit
>>321850562
>could have bought the sg13 which has better airflow, can accomodate bigger coolers, and is actually smaller
lol, fuckup
What case?
>>321850973
I had a i7 4790k in that case and tried both the stock cooler and the noctua l9i and the temps were pretty much unacceptable. If you insist on getting a mitx case then look at shoebox cases + watercooling
