Ehhh, I liked the endgame VB plot - chasing the enemy party, finding them on BOMB-001, and the plot where you have to redirect nukes wouldv'be been potentially very feels-worthy, but I do like the clusterfuck (in a good way) of New Vegas politics and alliances. VB would use isometric perspective, of course, but early 3D isometric graphics didn't look amazing or good like some of FO1/2 sprites did, and I don't feel strongly about iso/FP anyway, but some people do.
