Ive been in two minds about this for a while.
Is this worth £25?

Very much so, yeah.

Yeah, it's pretty bloody good.

Definitely.
Yes but because it's singleplayer pirate it anyways
Eh. I got it for free with my 980 and I cant bring myself to put in more than 20hours total. The gameplay is molasses slow and clumsy as fuck.
The only redeeming quality is the story/dialog, but the game makes you do a bunch of menial chores (unfun horse riding, unnecessarily convoluted crafting, frustratingly bad combat) in between every dialog exchange.
The menus and UI are also fuck-awful.
I honestly have no idea how this game gets so much dick-riding on here.
its alright
you can find it elsewhere cheaper though
It depends. Having played witcher 1 and 2 before, I really didn't get much enjoyment out of witcher 3.
The witcher series really only has worldbuilding and quests. Combat isn't great, while quests are will written, they all boil down to following witcher vision until you collect materials/talk to the right people/kill what you need to. The main plot (in all of them) are pretty meh too.
I kinda wish I didn't get burned out on the previous two, it just really doesn't provide anything substantial over the previous two entries
Is it better to get the expansions before you start playing or after you beat it?

If you're indecisive why not pirate it?
You can buy afterwards if you feel it was good, and there's no chance of buyer's remorse!

if you like ARPG & heavily rich story
buy it
