I playedand streamedDark Souls as a first today, that was neat.

What's your channel?
Just beat Dark Souls 2 for the time yesterday.
>>321770112
No channel. Just streamed in on Steam for the guy who gifted it to me.

People're saying it's a step down from the first one - what do you think?
>>321770517
It definitely is in terms of level and boss design but I think it's still a good game.
>>321770517
A'ight. I'll see how I feel about the first Dark Souls before I pick it up, then. Thanks.
>frogs and rodents keep appearing in these threads
>meanwhile I'm still playing Talos
>>321774108
Have a Buddha to even it out.
Also How's Talos?
>>321774207
Best game I've played in 2015.
>>321774271
What's it like? It's something of a science-fiction inspired puzzle game, right?
Been playing Fallout 4 recently. Its ok. Nothing like new vegas, but lets not get into that discussion. Decent weapon modding, place building, etc. Though if you want a good long fallout game, play new vegas. Oh, and also playing some old ps2 games. Sly Cooper reboot when?
>>321774376
Yeah, pretty much.
At first it feels too much like Portal (voice from above telling you to solve puzzles), but as the story unravels it gets interesting. And the puzzles are actually good.
im playing modded minecraft right now and it's alright, but I really want to sub back to eve andrunescape
>>321774451
Yeah, I went into it hoping it'd be more New Vegas. Left me disappointed, so I didn't finish it. Think I'll let it rest for a while and pick it up again later.

What kind of puzzles are we talking? Physics, minigames?
I platinumed Sound Shapes. Death mode can be hard sometimes, but I pushed through it.
>>321774708
Almost no physics puzzles at all, and the few of those are very controlled and can't go wild.
There are essentially four major mechanics: jammers that can open doors or disable obstacles, connectors to reflect light beams to their receptacles, fans that can blow you or objects and a machine that lets you record your actions and replay so you can coop with yourself (somewhat like that world in Braid, if you've played it).
I felt cheaped by the puzzles only twice, and in both cases it was for the stars required to access the secret ending.
>>321774921
Good on you, congratulations.
>>321775378
Huh, that actually sounds pretty neat. I liked Portal - this sounds like it might be up my alley.
>>321775704
It really is a good game. Normally when games like this are hyped and acclaimed as it was I'm always wary, so I was so happy to find that I loved every moment of it.
And it's quite a long game, too. It took me about 19 hours to get the true ending, although it should be 2-3 hours shorter if you don't autism all over the secret stars like I did.
>>321776861
20 hours for 10€?
Damn, I think I'm sold. Thanks, anon.
>>321777302
Neat, hopefully you'll like it as much as I did.
>>321778531
Time will tell! For now, back to animalposting
I've been playing through Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and it is just as fun as I remember it, but fuck the sewer parts.
>>321779967
>but fuck the sewer parts
I think it's a universal law that sewer levels have to be some of the least interesting in any game they're made for.

It's not necessarily boring, and I really enjoy the design of the boss room and the boss itself. It's just that running around in water that damages you when you have no consistent way of healing that makes it obnoxious.
I later found out that there's an optional direction you can take in which you turn the poisonous water into normal water, but being a Metroidvania I didn't find my way there.
