Do the early SH games work well enough on PC with a 360/Bone controller? I had heard there were some issues because the games predate xinput.

It's a popular track and tried to grasp fans to the very end.
Don't get me wrong, it's fairly faithful to the games compared to Resident Evil. But it didn't really reach all the way. So just like Resident Evil, looking at them as stand alone series, they are decent movies.

Hell Frozen Rain
It wasn't the best game by any means, but Shattered Memories easily had one of the better soundtracks in the series.
Im playing 2 right now but its boring as fuck and the va fucking makes me cringe. Should I just jump into 3?

I can't be fucked to find out what the song is called, but I remember a really somber tune playing when you first get to the graveyard at the beginning of SH2. It's the only time it plays and it was my favorite song of the game.

No. SH2 is pretty good, but definitely the worst of the original three.
It takes awhile to really appreciate voice acting, and what they were going for.
