I was thinking about getting this as well, but I haven't finished the last couple jrpgs I bought because it became painful: Fairy Fencer F and AR Tonelico. I technically finished Atelier Meruru because it has a time cap on it, but I got a bad ending because I just wanted to do alchemy and didn't give a fuck about whatever I was supposed to be doing.
Go buy a PS2 and get this instead

Hella worthwhile. First game is on sale for cheap. I laughed a lot and enjoyed the story/dialogue in the game. It really doesn't require much time spent grinding, regardless of what anons say. They just didn't know what to grind at what lvl if they really needed xp (but you don't almost always). It's only a grind for the nep+ runs where you complete game and continue for max shares with all nations.

You wouldn't be able to if you skipped literally every random battle. You get more than half your power and defense from equipment, but almost all of your HP comes from levels. So if you just went story battle to story battle, you wouldn't have any money to buy even par equipment for the point you're at, much less the money and craft materials for the gear you'd need to overcome the HP deficiency.
Save for a few extra battles, there's almost no depth to the system, but you still can't survive unless you can beat the numbers.

It would be a very short lived celebration. It's implied by Arfoire that the lack of competition would cause the industry to stagnate. Think about what happened to pro wrestling since WCW went out of business. WWE went from putting on entertaining storylines in a desperate struggle to not go out of business against WCW to telling the fans to go fuck themselves and do whatever they felt like doing since there are no credible threats to them in the marketplace anymore. It's also implied that Nepgear is too incompetent to rule the world by herself cause she's a straight up busta.

Though at first, i kinda interested on the gameplay mechanic but after awhile it gets real old fast since you literally doing the same fucking thing.
The dungeon design are not helping it either, i kinda liked how bright and colorful it can be though navigating around are such pain in the ass, it's boring and feel soulless.
The story however, i found it really generic trash, though you might found it interesting if you're into this kind of stuff.
The only thing good about it was the cute girl alone, and literally nothing else.
However, you will still found the game to be pretty decent if you're massive weeb that don't care about game quality.
