For all it's faults the walking dead manages to handle characters in a much more flowing way, instead of bunching them automatically into either good guy or bad guy. I hated Rebecca in the first episode, but after giving me a genuine apology she kinda naturally turned shit around.

I feel its because in season one he was a coward, who was all talk. When he loses everything, thats when he realizes he has to take action or risk losing the people he loves.
Its why he always goes to the extreme and Kenny is a good friend if you side with him.
I really liked Kenny, but I hated how if you sided with someone else, even once, even over something small, he held it against you forever.
