I don't even think scalping amiibo is a thing anymore. You can get virtually every one easily now i think besides shit like Gold Mario.

Nintendo actually starting stocking them properly. The craze was only due to hilariously low stock that was a mixture of Nintendo's own incompetence and the port strike going on at that time.

People are still buying amiibo's at a steady pace there's just no shortage anymore.
