What is the best version of Ryu in all of Street Fighter and the spin-off games?
ST Ryu is pretty good.
Not sure which the best is, but Third Strike Ryu's my favorite.

Almost certain they based his SF3 design on Golden Age Guts. SF3 was the first to give him the same spiky hair.

sf3 ryu looked odd but I think it was mostly the way his clothes bounced
