the crt to the right is connected to my PC via HDMI to RCA adapter that i use for emulating games and having that authentic CRT look
got a DS3 for ps1/2 games, ordered a USB gamecube controller and USB n64 controller (third party obv) for emulating n64 and gamecube games as well

I basically use it as an HTPC. Runs Kodi great, h265 decoding, and is even strong enough to brute force 1080p hi10p anime which is incredibly unique for a box like this without just building an actual HTPC.
I've been too lazy to setup the emulator side of it. I'm just hoping mednafen runs on it, but I doubt it. On the flip side, I've heard epsxe is actually really good on Android, probably because actually getting paid gave them a reason to improve it while the PC version has been left to rot.

I'm more comfortable chilling at my battlestation on my computer chair than I am over by the TV.
If I want to use the TV so I can play multiplayer or some shit I just plug in the HDMI cable, given that the couch/TV are only a few meters from the area where my computer is.

People buy separate devices to emulate for the same reason people buy PSone and PS2 classics for their consoles. Convenience.
I'm thinking of building a mini ITX PC and using Kodi as a frontend to emulate PCSX2, Dolphin, and everything else. OP's device can also do pretty much everything except PS2, but that's pretty much because Android doesn't have a stable PS2 emulator yet. The Tegra X1 is more powerful that what's in a 360. Sitting at my desktop with a controller hooked up doesn't feel right for me, especially alternating between M+KB to navigate and then my controller to play games.

I got it on ebay for like 140 bucks and it came with the VCR. Most TV's of this size only have the TV Cable, that's why I needed the VCR so I actually could get an RCA input
You can usually find this shit for free on craigslist but I found no luck, you'll probably find something that works on ebay, literally all i did for me was search 13" CRT on ebay and shopped around
