No I've given it enough credit for long enough. Three fucking years I wasted on that piece of shit and they never delivered. Issues that have existed since the beta phase have gone unresolved and all they've added was more expensive mechs for you to buy. I mean really, they are stupidly expensive, which makes sense since trying to grind out them for free takes literally weeks of dedicated play time. 6 hours a day, a goddamn second job.

The game just has a history of always being unbalanced. One weapon type being above all else and it takes weeks if not months for them to change it.
They have a tendency of nerfing powerful things to the ground while buffing everything else to compensate, so they literally just flip the table and keep doing the same thing.
ACs have ammo issues because the game used to be 8v8, but for some reason they made it 12v12 without giving any weapons more ammo to compensate for it.
All of the games problems rely on the incompetency of the dev team who just can't (or don't want to) learn from their past mistakes.

Mecha is a super niche genre in the West. It wouldn't sell and it would be compared unfavorably to Transformers or Power Rangers. Part of why Pacific Rim did so "eh" in America was that they thought giant robots is an immature "kiddy" thing.

Japanese mecha is fucking ridiculous. It's evolved to the point where the big 'robots' are literally just armor sentai superhero with overly decorative chunks sticking out everywhere and elaborate 'attacks' involving superfluous movements and special effects.
Real military technology is about compactness and efficiency. Form follows function. Anime is the exact opposite, where the visual style is the utmost important and function is just some arbitrary made-up 'powerlevel' that the designers and fans can wank over.
Pic related, might look boxy and ugly compared to anime superhero costume mechs but the design is undeniably effective. The shape and color is chosen to maximize real-world operation and not just a cartoonist's desire to put big shapes and colors to simulate anthropomorphic attributes on a machine.

I'd give both of my nuts for a mecha game with tons of customization where both "super robots" and "normal robots" parts are balanced (ie: super robot stuff is crazy powerful but takes a lot of budget and has various drawbacks while normal stuff is less flashy and powerful but is reliable and gets shit done all day long with no fuss)
