How's that game coming /v/?
Late night grinding EditionI scraped my entire project and am back to the drawing board.
Is there anyway to make a game without coding/programming?

Unreal has Blueprint which is basically Visual Scripting baby mode. it's very easy to use.

Ded thred pls revive

Is it free? I can't into programming. I'm also super slow when it comes to learning but I'm willing and super persistent.

Yes it is free.

I can feel you there, I swear I spend half my time rewriting or redoing things I've already done. Shit's painful. Doesn't help I'm a wageslave and I'm making mine as a hobby atm.

Stuff like RPG maker.

Every time I try to just give up something pulls me back in...I at least want to make a nice looking environmental scene
>>321613546
Yeah, unfort I have zero art skills and am using placeholders mostly. I'm focusing on gameplay I personally have been looking for and am trying to make it not shit.

My major gripe is when I fuck up I usually fuck it up more trying to fix it or just immediately trash it.
Also I can't keep focus long enough to finish anything.
Currently building the world now that I have the gameplay down, but I still need music and non-placeholder sprites

Been there, in my case I don't really trash it so much as keep adapting my code and art to my next project. Tons still needs rewritten each time, but I keep baby stepping closer which helps immensely. Think this is like the 4th thing I've tried to make with my existing code, although by now I don't think there's more than a few original scripts left since I keep refining and adjusting things.

Nice, rpgmaker or just using their sprites?I'm still using rpgmaker character animations for mine even though it's my game is a sidescroller yet the rpgmaker battle sprites are 2.5d.

No rpgmaker here. The placeholder sprites are old zelda ones, but I'm steadily replacing them.

>but I still need musicJust bought me a 61 key Keyboard for a hobby and gamin' music
>>321615484
I'd pretty much only need chiptunes, but I've got absolutely no music sense. Any pointers?

>Any pointers?
Well first and foremost the tone of the music should always fit with the game.
Also Jazz and Funk music can go with almost anything.
Eat your vegetables.
