Yes OP. It is still active. Both on ps3 and pc. Don't expect too many invasions but if you invade then you can still expect plenty. Especially if you stay around level 40-60. Level 120 is pretty much exclusive forest and undead burg.

a lot of people got banned in dark souls 2 for using graphic mods or DS2Fix(fixed the weapon degradation issue at 60 fps and other fps related issues) so they cant play with anyone
luckily i didnt get banned for my graphic mods because i quit that garbage game before the ban wave hit
