Naughty Dog made a sequel to thier game Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
The sequel was quite different in gameplay mechanics and tone, but still a great game nonetheless.
There are some mildly challenging sections which are memed to death, but in reality arnt that bad.

I've been playing through the Jak and Daxter series.
Even if it is so much edgier it's funny, the gameplay is so much better it's not funny at all. Being able to combo from strikes to gunshots is legitimately fun, compared to the first's spin-strike-spin-strike bullshit.
And those 3-second Eco Boosts weren't fun at all.

Jak 2 is a shit game with buggy controls, no lock on, and ridiculous checkpoint locations / difficulty spikes. Overall I thought the game was pretty good and I'm glad to have played it for you all.

The PS3 version has some bugs in movement. I don't know about the double jump, but there is a punch bug where Jak punches in a different direction that you intend to, effectively killing speedruns. That's why nobody speedruns Jak on PS3.

I tried fishing 3 recently, but I ran out of patience with that driving. Not sure how I dealt with it as a kid. The Precursor Legacy is the only one that I really enjoyed.

It has it's moments, but I found it to be the most enjoyable of the three. If driving were scrapped/changed in the other two games I'd rate them higher than J&D. I liked the level of difficulty in two, but the escort missions and driving just made it feel like a chore.

Came out when I was 12. Dragon Ball Z fan. I thought it was cool as hell, so that's probably why I have positive memories of it.
Lots of bad ones too. Sometimes got stuck on missions, but that was just because I sucked.
