I just started playing Eloa. I've only played for two hours but it's been pretty good.
There's a pet system where you level up your pets by feeding them other pets that you own. It's pretty fucked up in a good way.
I have actually given ESO a go again with friends and it has been alot of fun. Last night me and my friend explored around then went on a stealing spree. Pretty dope. I look forward to the next expansions.
If you are into animu kinda stuff ffxiv is good for awhile but fuck does it become tedious and grindy.

I just hope you have the patience and effort required by the game to actually give it a fair chance.

I dunno if you played WoW, but there's a vanilla private server called Nostalrius that has over 10k people playing. If you've never played vanilla/have a lot of nostalgia for vanilla I would recommend playing it.
