Rakuyo is hidden behind 2 giant sharkmen that can be a bitch to kill. Bloodletter requires you to get through most of the DLC to get. Simon's Bowblade either requires you to kill an NPC or wait until near the end of the DLC. Kos Parasite is pretty much gotten at the end of the DLC

Ornstein and Smough. Beat them on my first try blind NG.every single play through after, even once I had used the internet to learn all the ins and outs of the game, and knew enough of the mechanics to optimize builds it takes me like ten tries.
It must have been a combination luck and aligned stars, plus the thrill of fighting them my first time blind meant I was on the edge of my seat and top of my game.But I still don't know how I pulled it off really.

It's different for how people play the game, I never had trouble with Gascgoine or BSB but for some people it's damn near impossible. Hardest boss for me was Ludwig. Must've tried 30 times. Any pre-DLC bosses after Rom were all EZ PZ for me. Just depends on the person.

The only boss which gave me frustration was BSB. Had to summon for'em because I did not have the patience to grind antidotes. Other than that it was quite smooth. SoY was tricky but beatable if you have a strategy.
It's a pretty easy boss but it is just a big departure from other bosses in the souls series so people seem to think it is difficult.
He has a lot more health and is a lot faster than most bosses in souls games, so you cannot afford to play defensibly. Dodge to the right of his attacks and you can avoid almost all of them really easily. Be sure to be constantly attacking.

Kill the katana one first, then attack the other two in equal amounts so that they always have close to the same health. Then when they're down to about 1 third each, kill one and quickly kill the other so you don't get snake'd.

Bloodborne doesn't have any bullshit bosses that are mandatory. Rom is easy when you learn how to multitask. Everything else is varying stages of get good.
Hardest bosses relative to when you fight them are BSB, Logarius, Laurence, and the Defiled bosses. And even then none of them are UNFAIR, they're just difficult.

These designs are okay, but they could have toned it down with the damage and one-shots in the DLC. I got stunlocked for well above 1.5k damage by the big head patients that literally just slapped my body gently and did all that fucking damage. Miyazaki needs to sit down with a programmer and learn how to balance the damage output on enemies, since this isn't exclusively a Bloodborne thing. Most Souls games have enemies that can slap you with their bare hands and do boss-tier damage on you for no real reason.

Stage 1
Dodge under boss' right arm (your left) and hit in back
Stage 2
Same as 1 but casually walk behind boss while it wildly flails in front of itself before hitting in back
If the boss goes unresponsive for a couple seconds it's about to grab you. Wear Gascoigne set for poison resist. Never back down to heal because the boss can lunge forward quickly, always dodge before using an item
2ez BSB is the only boss I can consistently ace without getting hit

I just started Bloodborne and Cleric Beast killed me twice before I realized I'm an idiot and that I can stagger it. For some reason I didn't think I could so I was just dancing away from it and hitting it once like every few seconds and doing fuckall damage. Almost won that way too.

These also aren't even hard to notice strategies. Its like saying you're abusing Micolash's AI in phase 2 by shooting him out of CoB well comboing him when ur stamina comes back and repeating.
All the DLC bosses are well designed without having these gapping holes in their fucking design. Then you have bosses like Celestial Emissary and Hemwick Witches where you'd have to have a fucking heart attack just to have a possible chance to lose.
Plus you can dodge to the right as well you can basically dodge around BSB all day and he can't do anything. I hardly see how that is abusing a "flaw" in its AI friend. Its AI is just fucking terrible in general and only a slight threat if you fight it straight in front of its face.
