How can we fix Steam reviews being basically a leddit-like thing where mememasters rush to write the first reviews after playing for 5 minutes and get the most thumbs up, and from there on it snowballs and the first "funny" reviews are stuck being on the front page forever?
make everyone invest as much time and energy into videogames as you and people will stop being shallow about them

That's why they added the Funny button along side Thumbs Up and Down.
Funny button count doesn't increase the reviews rank in the review list, so it won't be top. Only thumbs affect that.
