What games do forests/vegetation right?

Pretty much none, and as a man who has worked in many forests I know a realistic one when I see it. Kingdom Come Deliverance comes closest I think but even then it's kinda fugly up close.

IMO, Arma doesn't do a bad job on some of the maps. Sure it isn't the prettiest, but they seem believable.
The Forest is good if you like chopping down logs and hunting for berries/animals to eat. Though last time I played, it can be a little too easy to set up camp because of respawning briefcases full of energy bars.
The Long Dark is also good if you like snowy forests and hungry wolves.
