Somebody spent time adding cosmetics behind a paywall.
You are now paying for shit in a game that is far from complete and has very little content as it is.

The game developpement is slow af, with minor upgrades everytime, and the gameplay starts to feel repetitive after the first hour.
I can't say what I enjoyed most in KF1, but it doesn't feel the same.
Plus, they have a whole game to finish before starting to work on cosmetics and shit.
