So I'm playing Mafia II right now, and while I quite enjoy it for what it is, it's heartbreaking to hear how much stuff was cut out, though maybe the devs were way too ambitious and their vision was out of reach from the start. At least not with 2K's "support".

It's weird they couldn't add some more generic mafia missions to fatten up the story. It's way too fast-paced as is- you never get a good chance to feel like you're a mobster before you either go to jail or the game ends. There are entire areas of the map you never go to unless you're collecting posters.
