If you're honestly into video games, very few mobile gmaes will qualify as a "game".
Honestly, the most fun I've had on mobile is fucking Hearthstone, which I wouldn't touch on my PC. What a joke - that's how bad the scene is.
Anime Dev Studio is okay, if shallow.
Final Fantasy Record Keeper is okay if you like collecting all the final fantasy characters, but there's barely any challenge to it (and only in specific boss fights does it offer any challenge).
There's honestly nothing good.

as a note PAD is a match 3 game but is way more skill based than it is luck based. I mean, it's still luck in getting the orbs you need, but making matches with what you have is entirely skill based as you can move shit around as much as you can in the 5 or so seconds you have to move.
the game throws magic gems (the in-game currency bought with real money) pretty often too.

That's true and all but a lot of builds will involve matching specific shit. It's also better to make the matches yourself first instead of hoping you get them from skyfalls.
My team currently requires matching light and dark orbs, but also the "prong bonus" which I get for matching 4 orbs exactly. This is obviously better to do on your own to get the 12.5x multiplier

Dunno why, of course the game still has female characters, it's just that males are there too now, in some cases there's a female and male version of characters(Mitum and Apollo for example). Also it's online only

There's usually special Rare Egg Machine events going on for holidays/crossovers. Right now is Christmas obviously, but none of the cards are really good I think.
Godfests are events where specific, rare and highly sought after monsters are available from the REM. So this is a good time to start playing. They happen every couple weeks and you can spend your free roll and early magic gems on these. Remember that your team limit early on will now allow you to chock your team full of strong monsters so 99% of your damage will probably come from your first pull
