Infinite Battle was a janky as fuck Gundam Ex Vs clone but it was kinda fun in its own way. Shame there was no local multiplayer though.

Come the fuck on. If you haven't played this baby you're missing out. Arena battles until you quit or lose, an emphasis on speed and stealth and a ton of ways to customize your mech. Also it has a baller soundtrack. Only downside is it's on OG Xbox, which makes it a little tough to find.
It also has a tough to find sequel called S.L.A.I. on PS2. More of the same but tougher.
The VOTOMS PS2 game is the best lisenced animu game ever made
I don't get the gameplay appeal of ZoE2.
It has awesome visuals and GOAT music, but the controls, the combat and the camera are just awful.
I'm particularly annoyed by how limp the laser sword and the cannon shots sound. They sound SO weak.

What builds did you use? I used a holly with a mix of MGs, melee, and a grenade launcher for utility with some good speed and an OC generator until I got those rocket launchers for the American mech, and then I shat all over everything with explosives.
Nothing quite like speeding through the tunnels and using melee on anybody who gets too close while looking for sweet sweet cash drops, and thenaccidentally meleeing some ridiculously high ranked purple asshole and having to haul ass because they can show up wherever and not get one-shotted.
That was some intense shit.
