The deal is that like I said, their classes were re-worked.
Originally they only had 4 tiers. Red/Green/Blue was tier 1 (they had the same stats but used Fire/Wind/Ice magic), Star was 2, Prism was 3, and Galaxy was 4.
in 5, they had 6 basic tiers like other classes, so the Red/Green/Blue tiers aren't necessary. Your element is chosen at character creation. Despite this, witches still have those colors. Red Witch is tier 1, Green Witch is Tier 2, etc, despite the fact that your Red Witch might be using Ice Magic.
