How bad is the Batman Arkham Knight port on PC really?
The highest rated negative reviews still have 60+ hours of gameplay, whichs seems contradictory to a game that is supposedly broken...

I'm considering buying it for my chrismas money guiiiisssseeee....
Really not bad at all. The complaints largely come from people with shitty computers and mustard race memelords that think PC ports should automatically look 10x better than consoles. If you can play the other Arkham games on your PC and like them, then you'll likely be fine running Knight and have a great time.
I played a pirated pre-patch copy, and it was poorly optimized. I've heard the latest patch improves performance, and it was at least stable pre-patch, so I'd say go for it if you like the series.

To add to this, I got Arkham Knight for free with a GTX 960 and recently got all the other Arkham games for free on Steam as well (for whatever reason they did that). I just played through all the games, and Knight is just as solid as the others. Maybe it was messed up at launch or had some bad bullshots when advertised, but I really had no idea where the hate was coming from when I played it.

Based on benchmarks, I'd say almost certainly. Somewhere between mid and high most likely. If you just turn off some of the postprocessing crap, you'll likely be able to use most stuff on high.
Does anyone think that arkham knight will get on sale during the christmas sales? like a good 40% discount?

The worst problem is that how bad it is varies WILDLY. Some people actually played pretty much fine from serious bugs, there are videos people have posted of entire game runs without major issues.
Then some people get unplayable issues all over
And some can't even start the fucking game
It's like it was tested on 1 hardware config and shipped out as it.

Yes, there are challenges, and you can play with all your characters in them. But most of the map challenges are DLC now, which is shit.

The hate is for the stupid fucking bat mobile missions and locking the ending behind the stupid riddler challenges. Also it really isn't new user friendly. There is no tutorial to anything in this game besides the bat mobile. If you've never played a bat game until now, you're going to have a bad time
