If you like spooky walking simulators, it's good. Those cardboards are the only scary thing in it.
And you can basically cheat some parts since you open any door if you are simply next to it, irrelevant of where you're looking.

I appreciate what the games ends up doing but I really wish they would have kept the cute theme going for the whole game, or at least that concept alone is interesting enough for another whole game just based on that.
Getting jumpscared by happy face clouds and cute slime monsters was hilarious, and as somebody who doesn't like horror games I was totally digging it, but once stuff actually started to get creepy I had to stop playing (I looked up what the reest of the game was though). I'd totally play a full game of just cute horror that makes you feel like a bitch for getting scared.

Most of the areas are based off famous horror games to some degree, and his one is based on the Shadow Temple in OoT and he's clearly meant to be the mask salesman. His thing is puppets though.
