When people say "git gud" they're not just using a buzzword, Anon. Well, they are actually. But there's a meaning behing this buzzword.
Once you learn to handle the mechanics and grasp some notions over what makes a weapon good and which weapon/spell is fit for a build, the game becomes a piece of cake.
Take my word for it, the mechanics of Dark Sould are hard in the sense that they're unwelcoming. Once you crack the code it hardly becomes challenging. You don't need a mod to make it easy, you need a brain, so you're set and ready.
