This, as well as the first few years after WoW's reease.
Bad Company 2 was fun. A lot of people hated the smaller map and player sizes among other things but i thought it had a decent balance to it.
Battlefield 3 was a huge dissapointment and maps like Metro were the reason. What an absolute shitshow of chokepoints. The opposite of what bf should be about.
I had alot of fun on the planetside 2 beta, there were some huge battles going on and making headway was a big rush.
Halo 2 Lan with friends were some good times.
I wish they never shut the servers down. The community was still quite big.

I couldn't agree more, BF4 was a huge disappointment.
I remember having 8 player LAN parties playing Halo 2. That was the pinnacle of meeting up with friends to play console based vidya.
Literally no way to play it. Sometimes I think about games that are merely dead, and I could probably get a group together if I tried hard enough. But this? It doesn't exist anymore.
