On the hardest difficulty, all but three of the perks are useless and about half are actually a detriment to the team, and Firebug is the only actually good perk at that difficulty.

All the ammo capacity is balanced for solo play for some reason, so pretty much every class runs empty half way through the wave.

Weight is the most fucked thing in this game and no one seems to discuss it. RPG is useless at ten weight and with the tactical shotgun's weight and cost, I don't think I've ever seen a single person using it. Not to mention Gunslinger weapons being insanely OP thanks to how low their weight is. There's not a single class that shouldn't buy the .500 revolvers.

That's how KF1 was, though. MM1 was a straight upgrade to the M79, all of the Commando weapons were straight upgrades.

Before adding five hundred weapon packs, side grades were the exception with the double barrel shotgun and the EBR (that no one used)/Crossbow.

People get one reskin drop a week, and the economy bottomed out after a free weekend. Microtransactions ended up being a non-issue. The big issue is that it gets an update every 3 months. The game still plays great, it just suffered from a lack of content.

The game is a huge step up from the original.
Gun play feels pretty solid, melee is super fun in this one IMO, the enemies are a a lot harder to fight against.

Overall with it being early access, slow updates, and this weird as hell microtransaction deal
6/10 solo 8/10 with bros.

The thing is, commando is based entirely around killing trash quickly and from a distance. L85 and scar are both great at that. the shit starting AR and AK both not so much. The other problem being that fire bug and gunslinger can both deal with trash and big shit. Sucks because commando is fun as fuck.

You're forgetting that medic, zerk, and gunslinger can all outrun enraged scrakes on the highest level with their movement speed buff. You can practically kite the mother fuckers to death with your 9mm if you're patient enough.

Supports (while a shit class now) doesn't even break a sweat killing scrakes since he can double barrel their heads off. Demo can also bludgeon them to death with his RPGs if he's good enough. Firebug can keep them at bay with Microwave gun alt but requires maneuvering to kill. The only one who is absolutely fucked is Commando unless he has ungodly accuracy to land all his shots on the head.

There is NO class that can outrun a fully enraged FP and they don't stop raging until they hit you. And you kind of set yourself up to get fucked if you let the wave go on with 8 scrakes at the end of the wave.

Considering the amount of players who are utter shit you are far more likely to turn around and see 3 enraged scrakes just finishing up your friends and turning towards you than 2 fleshpounds doing the same. And at least if you survive the FPs making contact you can run off and kite.
Being the meat in a scrake sandwich is never survivable, no matter how good your are. You'll never see three of them running at you from the other side of a field, it'll always be one pops up right around the corner after killing the one idiot who ran off but did just enought damage to piss it off -even if you think you can run, another appears, just as mad, in the direction you are running.

I played before the drops pretty regularly, and still have been since the update as well, since it's a fun game.
What I don't understand is why they would bring in a drop system that works once a week. Where is the appeal? Who wants something like that?
Regular players will keep playing regardless, and get a USB key or a headband once a week, which will annoy them even more. I don't see any people without the game buying it for a once a week drop either. Literally pointless and a waste of time

It's weird that you can't see if support or demo have extra ammo or granade share perk choosen. You must check every demo and supp to see it (or they can tell you). They should have icon or something like this so you can actually see that you can get something from them. Maybe like ammo? Green glowing backpack or something like this.
