They didn't really split the team, only some of the lead people on the first two games started working on TLoU.
Amy Hennig and a few other people that had a more secondary role (Amy was for example the co-director) now were moved to lead roles.

In the good games she was a part of she was never the one making any of the big decisions. She was always the co-director, co-designer, etc.
This makes it more clear that she is more of an idea person and writer than a leading game developer. She needs someone competent to take the reins.
Uncharted 4 will be the watershed moment for this generation when PS4 is seen as the definitively superior console and has a landslide victory over the other platforms.
Uncharted 4 has so much time, effort, budget, and marketing put into it with a team twice the size of any previous ND game. The game will be an absolute megaton and will place the PS4 into the annals of greatness with the likes of the PS2 and SNES.

One thing I hate about Uncharted is how they always gimp the analog sensitivity. Even on Max sensitivity it takes drake so fucking long to turn the camera. Like three days pass just to look around. Why the fuck do they do that honestly? Don't the developers feel the shitty slow feel while they're playing it? It has nothing to do with framerate either because Infamous was at 30fps as well but its controls felt fucking great and smooth as butter.
I really hate it when console shooters gimp the sensitivity like that. Apart from that Uncharteds gameplay during shootouts is surprisingly pretty damn good. I really hope that they've somehow seen the light and have this fixed for Uncharted 4. I guess that's unlikely though because they want their 'cinematic feel'
