just finished MGS3 on medium difficulty with a friend.
43 continues, around 2.3million in score for myself and it was damn good but holy shit I can't imagine it on very hard.

the shmup section is stupid easy once you get good at dodging things in general.
It even gives your spaceship fuel pretty often, provided you don't lose it.
pro-tip: if you just crouch and focus on knifing them, the red spiders are no problem either.
So I just tried the Metal Slug 2 from the Humble Bundle. I don't know how they fucked it up, but my god it lags to hell and back. Played through entirely and ran into a bunch of BS. 3 or more enemies on screen cause the entire thing to crawl. Random crawling elsewise. Enemies will lag and will fire upon spawning without having to play their animations.
Glad I only paid a penny to test it out. Really disappointed, though. Game is gorgeous and has great music. The version they put out just doesn't play right. Also, final boss is a quarter-sucking whore.
