This game is aged towards kids at the age of six and up.
At that age kids are into cool shit like transformers and ninja turtles, not Blue's Clue's and Pee Wee's playhouse.
By the time Jak II came out 2 years after Jak and Daxter, the core audience had grown up a little bit.
NaughtyDog keeps in touch with their fanbase, the kids who played Crash Bandicoot grew up to become young adults and play Uncharted.
