Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games largely because of the atmosphere. It was chill as fuck but it had a very melancholic sense of sadness to it.

The way the creators tell it, Jecht is the final boss. The aeons and Yu Yevon are more like "playing a cutscene".
I'm really glad I managed to avoid Final Fantasy. I saw it and made the active decision not to get into it.
