Here's the deal Anon, Daisyfags have this nostalgic connection to the character. They always viewed Daisy as Peaches equal in every way and kept dreaming for her to have a major role. These people are either those who feel left out in society or females who always picked her because someone else picked Peach already for a spin off game. They have this mindset that she is an essential character in the Mario series because of this nostalgia, they relate to Daisy because they are "left out in everything major" yet sees her as this character with "unlimited potential." When Rosalina was introduced and received continued amounts of attention they feel threatened by this. And the rest of Daisyfags are Waifufags who fantasize her on a daily basis because of her "sassy personality". It's bizarre considering her entire existence was only made when Gunpei Yokoi wanted to make a Mario game outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, Daisy was never meant to have a critical major role. Daisy has a more interesting land, but the mushroom kingdom has had way better games. As a representative of her land, Daisy is better. However, the characters on their own without that context of where they're from, Peach wins any day of the week.
