I turn my keyboard over and ORAOROA it until all the dust and DUDE LMAO crumbs fall out
if its my PC or a vent I just blow really hard and hope it works out

Take every key off and clean them in water
Anything that gets too dirty to just wipe clean with foam/fluid, I take apart completely and wash with hot water and soap. Same with stuff I buy used.

Keyboard:
Remove screw at bottom
Remove bottom plating
Remove all keycaps
Let keycaps soak in hot water, take them out after like 10 minutes and wipe them down, then let them dry on a heater or something, whatever
Apply compressed air to everything to remove dust
Vacuum to remove any hairs
Some random blue computer cleaner fluid, rub down all the surfaces to remove any grime
Put everything back where it belongs
Clean like the day I bought it.
Computer is basically the same, except no liquids are used to clean most of the crap.
Windex on a cloth.

Too much sticky shit that will remain on your keys, just use boiling hot water and let them soak, then just wipe them dry with a regular towel, then let them dry for a little longer.

Even without a cat, hair tend to get under the keys. Depending how long it was last cleaned that much hair is very much possible.
Hand sanitizer. I even cleaned the old thermal paste from my CPU with that stuff.

Whenever I clean my keyboard I find my gf's 3 foot long hairs everywhere, no fucking clue how they got there.Then again, sometimes I find one of my gf's hairs INSIDE of my urethra requiring me to pull it out, that or the crack of my ass

Those tend to show on a black keyboard.
For controllers I just wipe them down with a warm, damp cloth if I notice them getting dirty. Works fine, I don't eat anything that could leave residue on controllers while I play vidya, and I never really have a problem with dead skin or dirt from my hands.
For the keyboard I usually do the same thing, and sometimes I'll just tip it upside down and smack the back a few times to get any loose dust or crumbs or whatever out. I did take the whole thing apart not that long ago to thoroughly clean it with soap and water, but there wasn't actually much in there despite it not being cleaned like that in about 4 years. I can't see myself doing it again anytime soon because, at least with my keyboard (Microsoft Sidewinder X4), it's a big pain in the ass. Doesn't seem like they meant for you to take it apart, so you have to take out 20-something tiny screws, pry off the faceplate, and then use a knife or something with a fair amount of force to pry out every individual key. Next time I'll just buy a new fucking keyboard.

I got this mechanical keyboard with gateway, when my parents bought me my first pc. They got ripped off bad by paying $2,000 for the whole thing and the pc couldn't even play the original Hitman 47 without shitting itself. Talking 10FPS, technocolored walls and more.
That makes this keyboard 16 years old. Its WASD keys have long ago lost their letter and there's even tiny holes in them. Every few years or so, I crack it open, pop out the keys and take an old tooth brush to it.
