What does /v/ thinks about this game?
Really fun and honestly pretty great but strangely forgettable.

The first game, after MGS 1, that gave me a similar feeling, the enviroments, the atmosphere, they really took from it.
Ok game, good for one playthrough

Really enjoyed it, nothing to shit yourself over but a good fun little game nonetheless.
I've played the recent re-release for a bit. At first it got me really interested, but then I got into a long stretch that had nothing in it aside from moving forward, killing enemies and not exploring almost at all and I kind of lost my drive.
It's a bit like a Metroid game where they screwed up the pacing of the power-ups.

Shame sequence breaking is unnecessarily tedious as well. Apart from that one glitch at the start. Did they keep that in the remastered version?

I wouldn't know about it, that was my first experience with the game and I didn't read much about it, nor did I experiment.
One of the only games I've bothered to 100% on items. It was just fun. Story and voice acting and such were cringe, but the metroid-esque gameplay I've been craving for made up for it.
>Placeholder-like UI
>Runs like ass
>Animations fucked up
>3D environment in a 2D plane
>Get killed from outside your field of vision on hardest
I don't get the supposed hype

>well at least the vice-president is safe
>KABOOOOM
>you mean.... that vice-president?
What I play when I want to play Metroid and Metal Gear at the same time.
Was fun but knocked it over in all of about 5 hours and didn't see the need to go back to 100% it.
