For the first time in my life, after 9 years of WoW, I don't want to play the game. There's content now, sure, but I don't know why I'm not compelled to do it. On paper, everything is the same as MoP, yet it's all so different and lacking. I don't know if my friends grew up or grew bored. I don't know if I enjoyed MoP because the game was good, or if I enjoyed it because I had people to play with.
It's a weird feeling.

It's because you had friends. That's what made Vanilla and TBC so special to many previous players, they had their guild, friends, hell maybe even an arch-enemy on the opposing faction. There was a sense of community. That is what is lacking in today's WoW unless you are in a guild with friends. The game has always been shit.

Unless they make an expansion that introduces a bunch of changes that re-vamp the entire game to be more cooperation and community focused WoW will never be saved.
Unfortunately, since many of these problems stem from WoW's appealing to the mass casual market by creating systems like LFR that make WoW play like a single player game with no real community to speak of because 'it's quicker for people who don't have the time to dedicate to a full on MMORPG (casuals who don't really give a shit about MMO quality at all and nine year olds)' WoW will never be saved because that would mean sacrificing their mass casual market appeal to people who contribute nothing to the online community or the game and who just stand in one spot using LFR for their entire WoW experience.

Here, let me tell you something important.
Getting laid isn't about being handsome or rich.
Getting laid is a numbers game, say you're an average looking guy who is somewhat overweight (not hamplanet level but still fat, within about 30kg of normal weight is somewhat acceptable but this can change based on where you store most of your fat). You go to a bar or club at night and try to pick up, assuming you aren't aiming well above your weight class you should be able to snag roughly 1 in 5 of the girls you pick up on as long as you are confident and not an unsociable wreck.
Step 1 is prepare to be rejected, a lot, you need to develop an immunity to it, don't get mad, don't get sad and don't feel ashamed. Just move on to the next one and put the last one out of your mind completely.
Step 2 is keep it simple, seriously, for the love of fuck do not use convoluted pickup lines, more often than not trying to be smart will just make you look stupid or like a jackass. Just walk up and say hi, introduce yourself and ask for her name, ask about what she does, who she is, etc. Be confident, don't stutter, don't pause, just relax and act like you were speaking to any old person.
Step 3 is the close, this is the hardest part, you have to convince them to go home with you (or back to their place if that's easier). For this part it is essential that you have some method of going home planned beforehand, even if it's just by taxi, keep in mind that you'll both be drunk so driving isn't an option and public transport is a mood killer. Make out a bit at the place you met before trying to go home, if they won't make out with you at the club/bar then they probably won't go home with you, consider this a litmus test of sorts before you ask. If they won't kiss you then try to get a number and give them yours(this also works if you're not wanting to pick up immediately or have a one night stand)
If you follow this then you should get laid in no time. Just get out there.

WoW killed the MMO genre by acting like a great big black hole for the playerbase while simultaneously changing people's standards for what an MMO should be. Now if you don't have and LFR feature and tons of other crap to make the game more "Convenient" for players (so no one has to leave the town or interact with other players in any meaningful way and dying has no consequence) then no one wants to play your MMO. At best you'll get a niche audience of what you could call 'true' MMO players but most of the time that niche audience isn't enough to support what you're trying to sell.
Also people now get pissy if your MMO doesn't have as much content as WoW has now on release so everyone has given up because new MMOs are doomed to obscurity until WoW dies.

If you want to keep people paying monthly, you need a progression treadmill, which in turn means you need to be constantly replacing content with newer, "more powerful" content. Then you need catch up mechanics so new players aren't stuck on old content that no one is running. The genre is flawed from first conception.

I dont really feel guilty for buying new expansions and subbing for a few months though. I feel like Blizzard earned it for providing me with so much enjoyment in Vanilla and TBC. But they wont get more than a few months out of me (or anyone for that matter) until they get their shit together..and I don't see that ever happening. So the trend will continue and WoW expansions will continue to sell well but subs will spike for only a short time before tanking. I've played only Rogue since BC, and the proposed changes to the class seem interesting, but they'll probably ruin it before or shortly after the expansion releases.
