That they're finally releasing games we should have gotten anyway? Thankful isn't the right word. More like 'fucking finally you idiots'.
The rest of the games should be released as well. Dragon Quest is still one of the top 5 selling JRPG series in the west. Even without any support. If we can get every SMT and Altier game, which sell less than 300,000 copies, it should be a no brainer for SE to release all the DQ games which regularly break 500,000 units sold. With no marketing.

Piracy was 10x more rampant on the original DS. And the DS games sold well. So much so, it sold out of all the copies SquareEnix printed and started selling online for $80+ each.
This is why it is so stupid that they ignored the 3DS games for 4 years. And only after a massive change in management in SquareEnix are they finally waking up. But it may be too late now. Since the 3DS only has 1-2 years left before a new system is released. I wish they'd just release all the overlooked DQ games, one every 3-6 months. Setting up for Dragon Quest XI sometime in early 2017.

Dragon Quest is the only series I can think of where I like every single song. Even playing Theathrythm FF, I groan every time a FFX or XII song comes up.
I want Theathrytm Dragon Quest because it will be the one game where I know I will like every song. As well as getting a lot more people into Kochi Sugiyama's excellent music and the DQ series as a whole. Even if the game only sells 300k units like FF Theathrythm did, a lot of those people will be new to the DQ series. And may buy the other games after playing it.
Spin offs are basically marketing put into a game. This is why the spin offs are just as important as the main series games.

Just like Dragon Quest X wasn't a flop for 'only' selling 1 million copies. That was expected. And it turned around and became the most played and profitable MMO in Japan. Beating FFXI and XIV.

To be fair, it also came out in the first year of the 3DS. While the others came out at the peak of the GBA/DS. Its like claiming Kirby Canvas Curse sold bad by comparing it to Kirby Super Star Remake. One came out 8 months after the DS released and the other came out at the height of the DS.
