Just got my XMas bonus of $2,500 so I'm looking to rebuild my old i7 2600K/GTX 680 gaming PC.
So far settled on an i7 5820K and 32GB of DDR4 but still need a new GPU (or two).
Should I go for the GTX 980 Ti or Fury X?

Just get a fucking titan

Out of my budget especially if I get two GPUs.
I would get a 980ti over the Fury X, seems to be a bit weaker generally.

Dont get a Titan, the 980ti is a better card OP

I will mostly be playing Nvidia Gameworks vidya so I guess I'll prefer the GTX 980 Ti over the Fury X.

Don't get two GPUs unless you are planning on getting two titans/980ti for maximum power. You are better off cost/performance and compatibility wise just spending your GPUs budget on a single card.
So GTX 980 Ti it is. Any particular brand and model? My last GPUs have been EVGA CLASSIFIEDs but I guess I don't do much OC'ing so I could get something else for cheaper.

The Titan X is a better GPU, but for the money I know the GTX 980 Ti is a better buy.

My budget allows for one and a half GTX Titan X or two GTX 980 Tis. This is my present to myself so I wanna go spoil myself with grafics.
unless you do some serious video editing/cpu-intensive shit that actually makes use of hyperthreading, the 6600k will have better single threaded performance for games and allow you to make use of the myriad benefits of the z170 chipset.

I do a bit of media creation too so I do need dose threads mang.
