I understand that back in the day Daisy was a clone just to fill a slot in the Mario Party, Kart and Sports games, but now she's not anymore. I don't hate Rosalina and blame her for everything. But you gotta admit, Nintendo ignored Daisy pretty hard. Despite her being in the Game Boy's flagship title and gaining a fanbase in the spin offs.
She's deserving of at least one solo game. And why not set it in Sasarailand? Instead of having Mario save Daisy, have Daisy fighting aliens to save her own land.
Then it can also set up for Rosalina to have her own Mario Galaxy spin off.

This is bullshit and you know it. The 'big push' didn't happen until 2013 with 3D World and her announcement for Smash, which was 6 years after she was created. Before that time she was kept out of everything outside Mario Kart.

They do it plenty. Mario Sunshine, Mario RPG games, Mario Galaxy, etc.
Mario Land being in a different world isn't really an isolated idea. It just got forgotten after Mario Land 2/Warioland came out. Which is a shame since I think Sasaraland and Mario Galaxy had the best settings.
The least they coulddo is make Sasaraland levels for Mario Kart and Smash Bros. I mean, Mario 2 got a level in Smash Bros. Kirby's Dreamland got a black and white themed level. Even fucking Balloon Flight got a stage. But Mario Land doesn't get one?
