Do you always pick the default palette or do you choose alternatives?

I usually do alternatives, with default every now and then. Melty Blood and Under Night In-Birth has so many options there's no reason not to find something you like.

Depends on the game and character. For example in KoF98 Heidern's blue default looks like crap, while his C outfit looks way better and more like 94/95.

Smash's alt colors can be shit because some of the companies involved drop the brand protection hammer so you get shit like yellow-only pac-man or extremely muted, barely distinguishable Cloud colors

I pick my favourite palette. Sometimes it happens to be the default, sometimes it doesn't.
I always choose the default color if possible. Anything else just irks my autism for some reason

KoF 13 was perfect since it allowed you to experiment a lot.
Probably the worst game with different palettes for their characters I can think at the moment is has to be Advance Wars.
Compliment color schemes are what gets me sometimes
I really love the color combination of Blue/Orange and Yellow/Purple

When I was a kid I always stuck to default but now I like alt colors. Usually I stick to reds but if something else really looks good to me I'll go for that.
I like to play the bright pink color palette because i'm a huge memester.But when I don't feel like being a shithead I usually just pick the blue one.
