As much as I'm willing to defend Kojima went it comes to TPP because he's obviously a victim and could certainly have made a good game if given enough time, I can't defend this.
Kojima is still half a crook. Remember the product placements for Seiko, J F Rey and Sony, remember putting Quiet forward to provoke people, and later Joosten just because she's a model... Kojima is great at marketing, and that's something I can't really excuse.
