Is it just me or is the soundtrack in this game underwhelming as fuck?
One thing I always loved about souls games is their ability to make wide varieties of great sounding compositions for their bosses, whether it be a raging medieval choir to soothing piano compositions. I honestly can't pick one track that stick out from this game, and to be honest, the mechanics in the boss battles are pretty underwhelming too.

There's a couple of memorable tracks, same as Dark Souls. Its probably just differing taste brah.
Gascoigne, Gehrman, Wet Nurse, Micolash and all the DLC bosses have memorable tracks to varying extents, though I have a soft spot for the Living Failures OST. They were the worst boss in the DLC but their theme speaks to me on a personal level. Its just neat.

Say what you want about the music, but the bosses are top notch, and easily the best in the series. They actually have phases, multiple avenues to victory, have tight well-represented hitboxes (a departure from the series), you can't one-shot half of them (another departure from Souls), etc.
Just look at Allant, Gwyn, Gherman;

You could argue that for literally anything, that's why it's so unbelievably stupid. Any videogame song could be thrust into countless other videogames or even movies and you wouldn't notice.

Most high difficulty modes only make the game's worse because just like easy modes they aren't properly balanced for them.
Hell look at Dragon's Dogma Hard Mode which only makes everything nearly one shot you (even bats which are almost impossible to avoid) and increases stamina usage by double. Ooooo so challenging.
A good intermediate in difficulty is usually best and to be honest I would rather have difficulty like Ninja Gaiden Black where damage doesn't really change that much but what is thrown at you changes. Enemies change, boss fights have different adds or moves used, etc.
