You should still pick up a 360 controller for playing on PC, though. Wired is plug and play, wireless needs an adapter you can get cheap on Amazon or Ebay.

Don't buy into the FFVII hype. It's aged like milk and was never that great to begin with. Either play FFIX, Suikoden or Xenogears for your RPG fix.
Other great titles include the original Rayman, Abe's Oddysee, Soul Reaver, Crash 3 and King's Field. Only fighter on the quality level of Tekken 3 is Street Fighter Alpha 3.

PS2 emulation is notoriously problematic. If you have the option, check if there's a GC version of a game, as emulation is a lot better for that.
Okay, I'm sure it's on nobody's Top PS1 games list, but take a look at the Deception series. They're unique games where you defend haunted mansions with traps like pitfalls and spiked walls.
You might want to skip the first one though. That one was really basic.

Ehrgeiz is fun as a throwaway experience, but mechanically is nowhere near the level of polish of other fighters on the console. Everything's slow, floaty and there's barely any depth. Half the characters feel the same and most people wouldn't know about it if it weren't for FFVII characters.
