Hello
I was wondering if there were any RPGs in the style of Diablo, Path of Exile, Titan Quest, Torchlight etc but set in a sci fi world where you use guns.
I've been playing a lot of sci fi games recently and I think one like that would be awesome.
Thank you for your help!

Borderlands 1
Helldivers, Alien swarm.
>>320921146
if you want to program one I'll play it, OP
balancing it might be tough because no real melee though
Space Siege.
>>320921146
The closest I can think of off the top of my head is Grim Dawn, it's a fantasy setting but it has guns and some of the classes have grenades and whatnot as available skills.
>>320921736
Fuck you.
>>320921865
But that's what OP's asking for:^)
You didn't specify the quality so Hellgate london.
>>320921146
I can't find it now but I swear there was some f2p arpg/mmo that was like russian? maybe? on steam where you shot guns at like monsters/aliens in a post apocalyptic enviornment
i cant find it at all now though so i guess thats not very helpful
You have Punisher in Marvel Heroes which is exactly what you are looking for.

Hellgate London but the camera is different though.
Also there was one where you can change body parts like arms and legs, I remember it as a kid but I don't think it's very good.
Rengoku Tower of Purgatory had loot and hack and slashy gameplay. Too bad the game was pretty shit though.

Van Helsing 1 & 2.
Sadly the game turned to shit in 3 and the complete version.

Nobody mentioned space hack, wat
The Alien Shooter games.
They control a bit differently, though - you use WASD to move and the mouse to aim.

i've been wanting a game of this description forever. space siege, despite being made by gaspowered games (who made the first two dungeon siege games) and keeping the same naming convention, has no loot and is generally crap. greed is garbage. space hack is just unadulterated shit. borderlands 2 and pre-sequel have such low droprates they aren't worth playing (you can mod the droprates but it is a really tedious process and has to be re-done every time you run the game). borderlands 1 is okay I guess, but I've played it to death. I want isometric ARPGs in space opera and cyberpunk settings, with full loot and character customization. A modern lovecraftian horror one would kick ass too (hellgate london sucks ass and isn't isometric, i shall remain is boring, and breach and clear deadline is buggy trash). sigh

Fuck you, space siege was good.

hellgate: london
it flopped hard though

This is actually surprisingly on point. Grab a friend and co-op it. You have leveling unique characters and loot that largely specifies how the characters play as the equipped loot decides what skills you have available.
I recommend starting with the base game campaign and then doing chaos rising. You can skip retribution campaign as it's not as good (though as an added bonus you can play races other than sphess marines in it)
>>320927383
I never thought of co-op'ing
I'm in Pacific time with varying schedule if anybody might want to join up. I have Chaos Rising and Retribution
>>320921146
There's SpaceSiege but it's shit.
Just give up and play Crusader: No Remorse/No Regret
>>320921146
Shadowgrounds games come to mind.
>>320928292
What is crusader?
>>320929537
meme game
>>320927086
I loved that game tho'.
>>320924497
Sadly, it looks like complete shit
Marvel heroes 2015 is actually quite good.

Even bought it on release day.
