Never had a problem with the XMB, everything was well organized and always where you expect to find, while the always praised Xbox 360 interfaces had shit all over the place, the blades I particular were always cumblersome to find that one setting you wanted to change
Guess people just never played with theirPS3s enough to just learn the simple layout of the XMB

Saturn's menu. At the time I also used the console for listening music and that spaceship and cockpit were comfy as fuck
DS has best minimal home menu.
PSP has best menu with full set of options.
GameCube Cube Menu was fun as shit. The SFX and interface were neat and it only came out when you wanted it, not when the game decided it wouldn't fucking work.

fucking loved my PSP 3000. I think I played/used it every day for a solid 6 years every night before bed. Super comfy portable console and I loved emulating gameboy and PS1 games on it. The poor old thing completely 2 or three summers ago though, which resulted in me finally getting an Android phone, which is pretty cool too I guess but I don't think I'll ever have as fond of memories of it than I will the PSP.
