This is a loaded as fuck question. If we're talking about which would I rather play Persona 5 or Final Fantasy XV, I would GREATLY rather play Persona 5, but if we're talking like would I rather play FF9 or P3, P3 can eat my asshole with a spoon because fuck that game. In fact I would rather play most Final Fantasy games over the entire Persona series. The problem is, Final Fantasy has become a series I have no interest in anymore because they have "evolved" into these really shitty action games that don't have a lot of depth to them but pretend they do because of RPG mechanics that are more often than not annoying more than they are fun or interesting. Also the stories and characters have severely degraded and Square has become a shittier publisher/developer/company in general and I really don't agree with a lot of their business practices anymore.
I'm not even particularly looking forward to P5 even, it looks okay I guess, it looks like they fixed some of the issues I have with P3 and P4, but I'm probably not going to think it's amazing or anything. That being said I am still looking forward to that more than I am to FFXV or the FF7 remake which should probably change its name because it's not a remake anymore (inb4 the stupid semantics argument of "remake vs remaster HURRRR THEY NEVER SAID THEY WERE GOING TO MAKE THE SAME EXACT GAME WITH BETTER GRAPHICS"). New Final Fantasy is shit and I don't care.
