I enjoyed the game for what it was, but after about 60 hours I kind of lost complete interest. Even on survival I was one shotting almost everything as melee, I explored a lot, but after awhile all the dungeons start to look and feel the same.

Shooting waves of random enemies is more enjoyable than any of Fallout 4's scripted quests or faction quest lines

Fallout 4 improved on mechanics but... after you get over the 'holy shit fallout can play like this?' thing, it gets old real fast.
Maybe for the dlc or the next fallout, they'll add some substance where it matters like in writing, story, characters... and just make it like the other fallouts and make it fun to explore

Well that's mostly because Bethesda has a shit tier writing team. All they churn out comes across as lazy or boring. I still find myself having more fun with New Vegas than 4 because the world was just that much more immersive.
