No, Steam removed the ability to disable updates. The only way now is to download your entire library and run Steam in permanent offline mode, but even then I think Steam stops working after a while unless you go back online. Or if you don't shut down Steam properly every time you have to connect it for it to run again.

There's actually an entry in the steam database for a patch that adds back in the licensed songs, but they haven't mentioned any plans of ever going through with it. It should be flat out illegal to patch out licensed content you've already paid for the license to, but no one's going to bother suing them over it. As someone who glitched 400 mil very early on, I burned through about 250mil up until now & I own almost everything. It costs over 250 million fun bux to buy almost everything, the prices are not evenly distributed and Rockstar are just going to continue to inflate the prices, while adding no new gameplay or upping the original payouts. I assume your "heist" is Pacific Standard. With a competant group, you can complete it in 2-3 hours. Your payout is 150,000 to 250,000, unless host but, then we have to factor in the money paid to start the heist and it's still the same end. 3-4 times will net you 1 million dollars every 10 hours. GTA V is a masterpiece. The overall story isn't as good as GTA IV, but the missions themselves are a lot better. The missions in GTA IV was simple chase down this faggot into this warehouse and kill everything. In GTA V you have varying missions, heists which are a fucking blast. The engine is well optimized and will run on literally any system that isn't a toaster.
GTA Online is kind of a joke, but if you play GTA for online you're gonna be disappointed anyways because that never was where the GTA experience is at.
