No, Mario is dumb as shit in Smash 4. Pit is probably the character that rewards good fundamentals the most. Doesn't have any dumb shit(Dark Pit does now though, his side b is retarded), doesn't have a large number of winning match ups but doesn't really have any losing match ups either, mostly just even match ups.
