Confusing story that is more open ended than Dark Souls. Limited weapons but they are more unique and not just copy pasted. Limited armour and simple stats. Faster combat than souls. This is my goty. It's on par maybe even better than Dark Souls 1

The worse "souls" game. It diverts from the formula of what makes Souls games amazing, and instead you are stuck with a fast paced game with no substance or soul.

Skill (this games Dex) and Arcane builds don't really work despite there being two decent weapons that scale off Skill and Arcane.
STR/ARC works well, as does pure ARC (requires hard work to be good).
First playthrough should be either STR or SKL since "weird" builds require knowledge of where stuff is and doing stuff undeeleveled, when first playthrough should be blind and natural.
If you don't care about PVP just do whatever you want and keep Leveling until you want to stop. Don't let people on the internet bully you into stopping at 98 because they said so.
Just play it an me use/level whatever you find that seems cool.
The best Souls game along with Demons Souls.

Bloodborne has pretty graphics and nice set pieces, but lacks class variety, weapons or armor, any type of mystery or treasure finding, lacks different playstyles, and it's a much more casual game difficulty wise since all you have to do is charge your strong attack and parry to kill 99% of enemies.
So we've had Slav Souls in Lords of the Fallen and are getting Samurai Souls with Ni-Oh next year; who else has tried to cop From in this regard?

you can get the Saw Spear almost immediately and that's basically the SKL version of the cleaver. It will carry you through the first half of the game and wreck most bosses. Ludwigs is big damage even with no strength or arcane and that's really early. The Rifle Spear can be obtained early in the game too.

Slap on some fire gems and the scaling wont matter. It is the ultimate beast killing weapon.
A really good game with cool lore and brilliant world design. Some unique weapons. Level design on par with or even better than DaS and DeS. Easily the best combat in the series if you're not a faggot who thinks stacking rings so you can equip Havel's armor to tank everything, spam backflips and fire off overpowered magic makes for good combat. Be aggressive and learn to dodge and parry.
Also the DLC is worth every penny. I played the game through about 3 times and played the DLC once. Really enjoyed it.

Go to /vg/ and check the pastebin. There are codes for chalices guaranteed to have them. This is assuming you've done enough of the correct offerings to get the right kind available (you need to make a chalice type at least once to be able to summon with codes) and you can only get one rock per chalice type per playthough.

I've done that and got all the guaranteed ones. You can only get one from a chest in each different chalice along with the few in the main line per playthrough. The chalice ones don't even reset in NG+. Any more after that requires grinding bosses.
